About Drew North

I have always believed that a good story shouldn't take a lifetime to read—it just needs to stay with you for a lifetime. My writing focuses on "A better way," tales designed to be read in a single sitting, yet packed with enough depth to leave you thinking long after you've turned the final page. I take great pride in that my stories can be read by anyone from ten to ninety-nine, without compromising their morals or challenging their scruples.

I was born in the Allegheny mountain region and had a lot of freedom to explore nature's wonders as a young child. Later on, as a teenager, I was actually able to make sense out of the lessons that nature taught. My inspiration comes from the outdoors; the quiet tension of the wilderness and the beauty and wonder that it holds. Whether it is the suspense of a winter mountain in The Longest Minute or the reimagining of a legend in Billy the Kid, I aim to place readers right in the center of the action.

When I am not writing, you can find me cycling, hiking the trails of Florida, or in my Jeep heading for parts unknown.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing in these stories. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.
